Adkisson Residence
Dash Point - Federal Way, WA

Mick and Cami Adkisson decided to move back to the Federal Way area where Cami was originally from. Cami's mother, Sherry was wanting to downsize and they thought it would be a perfect fit for all if Mick and Cami bought her mother's waterfront home and renovated to include space for a mother-in-law apartment (or mother's).

Our concept was to convert and expand an adjacent dining room into space for Sherry. The new apartment provides separate entrance and private space while still allowing family interaction.

The main house has been opened up with an expansive new entry, new open kitchen and dining and a 3 car garage with rec room and office space above.

A couple of the unique features are the new barrel-vaulted entryway and the new light filled stair tower that connects the main house with the new garage.
